Relax, It's your Bedtime Routine.

A night routine is the things you do immediately before going to bed. For example, it may be your habit to have a hot drink before going to bed, or perhaps you like to read a book in bed before going to sleep. No matter what night routine you have now, we recommend you should try some of our night steps to wind down. One hour before bed, cut off all electronic devices, which can be distracting for at least 30 minutes. The blue light from electronics interferes with the production of melatonin, a hormone necessary for restful sleep. Other alternatives would be reading a book, meditating, doing a facial, or even practicing bedtime yoga. A big no-no for a nighttime routine would be drinking any caffeine after 4 pm. Caffeine stays in our system for about 6 hours, affecting our night routine. Caffeine will make us feel jittery until it runs through our bodies while trying to relax for bed.

After winding down, you should continue with your hygiene routine. Take a hot bath, brush your teeth, and do your everyday skincare routine. After doing the hygiene routine, you can continue by writing in a journal one thing you are grateful for every night, and you can even write down your mood for the day. At all times, better sleep will make us feel in a better mood and have a positive mindset the next day. I suggest practicing these steps to create or add to your new nighttime routine, which you can follow and unwind every night and relax.
